Steven Newberg serves as pastor of Ascension Lutheran Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. He grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has a wonderful wife, four children named after German saints, and a dog named Huckleberry. Pastor Newberg enjoys reading the classics, as well as theology, and is always looking forward to the next trip or family hike. He loves getting to know people, helping out at his kids’ school, and having long chats with his wife over coffee. Fun fact: He’s good at eating lots of food and has his name on the wall of quite a few restaurants across Michigan and St. Louis.
